This teaching qualification is the basic requirement to enable you to teach/train adults in higher and further and education.

If you have a skill such as hairdressing, car mechanics for example then with this qualification you can apply for jobs teaching this skill.

The Level 3 Award in Education and Training is designed to give you the knowledge and confidence to teach in the post 16 education sector. This could be as a trainer in the private training industry or as a teacher/lecturer in further education.

This qualification replaces the old PTLLS course. Certifying people to teach at a nationally accredited standard.
