Summer School Centre - Bfluent Southampton UK

Bfluent's Summer School Centre is Cantell. It is a very modern school with a fantastic range of facilities and features.

The school is subject to the UK Governmental Ofsted inspection framework and so therefore is rigorously checked for quality and safety every 4 years.

Reception

On entering the school there is a security entry system so that noone can enter or leave the school without the reception staff knowing about it.

Teachers

All classes are taught by teachers who have recognised teaching qualifications and are experienced. As a minimum all teachers have Cambridge Celta, Trinity Tesol, Bachelor Degree in Education or a PGCE.

Curriculum

Our curriculum sees the students learning and practicing English language inputs that they can then use in the afternoon. Another feature of our curriculum focuses on describing what has happened in their holiday which mirrors elements of the speaking exams in the B1 Cambridge PET, B2 Cambridge First and IELTS exams.

Classrooms

All classrooms are fully modern, spacious and with full interactive white board technology.

IT Rooms

We have a number of fully integrated IT rooms with a huge range of options for project work and for English classes, for example, voice recording, image reproduction etc.

Sports

We have a full size outdoor astroturf football pitch and a number of outdoor astroturf 5-a-side pitches.

There are 4 tennis courts and an indoor sports hall with full size basketball courts, volleyball courts and badminton courts.

Assembly Hall

At Cantell we have a large hall and outdoor covered play area with table tennis tables where students can take a break and eat lunch and relax.

For parties and other gatherings we use the assembly hall with removable audience seating and fully computerised sound and lighting systems for when we hold talent shows and parties.
